Spotify Cheapest Country VPN

If you reside in the UK or the US, you’ll be paying £10.99 or $10.99 per month respectively for Spotify. In one year, that will be $131.88. Now, compared to a lot of other countries, this is expensive. But we get it. The better the economy, the more expensive Spotify subscription. However, you can take advantage of Spotify cheapest country VPN to cut down on the amount of money you spend per month. The major downside is that Spotify will recommend songs specific to the VPN region. However, as you build your playlist and favorites, it should naturally align with your interests.

Spotify Cheapest Country VPN

For this part of the post, we will talk about the cheapest Spotify country out there. When you know this country, then you need a VPN that supports it. This means that whatever country I mention here, in the next section, you will know the VPN that has servers in this country to use for Spotify.

1. Brazil

So, our first Spotify cheapest country is Brazil VPN. The individual plan of Spotify Premium in Brazil is R$21.90, that’s about $4 a month. You’ll use a VPN to make it look like you are signing up from Brazil. The Spotify cheapest country VPN here is NordVPNProtonVPN, Surfshark, and even ExpressVPN.

These are VPNs that have servers in Brazil. When I did this particular test, I used NordVPN. If you only need a VPN for a cheap Spotify, sign up for the one-month plan and cancel auto-renewal. You can even ask your friends to find out if they have an active VPN account.

Download, install, and open the VPN app, then connect to a server in Brazil. Now, go over to spotify.com and log in. Click on your profile name in the top right, then on the account. Go to ‘Edit profile’, and change your country to Brazil. If you already have Spotify Premium, it may not allow you to change your country right away. If that’s the case, cancel your subscription and wait for it to end before you try this method.

Next, click ‘Redeem’. You’ll have to pay with a Spotify gift card because a credit card often doesn’t work. Also, they usually ask for a social security number. You can bypass this requirement in Brazil by entering random numbers. Open a new tab and visit g2a.com to buy a Spotify Brazil gift card. A 50 real card will cover about 3 months of Premium. Copy the gift card code, then go back to Spotify and redeem it by pasting the code. That’s it, you now have Spotify Premium. You can add more gift cards later if you want. You don’t need the VPN anymore after setting your country to Brazil in Spotify’s settings.

2. Turkey

You can also get a Turkish Spotify subscription. The Spotify Premium individual plan costs TRY 59.99 per month, which is about $1.90. You can buy Indian gift cards from Amazon India for this. First, set an Indian delivery address on your Amazon account. Don’t buy Egyptian cards; many people encounter problems redeeming them. The cost is roughly £11 for 12 months. For a family plan, using Turkey, it’s about £20 for 12 months for 5 people. As for the Spotify cheapest country VPN, you can use SurfShark.

Alternatively, follow these simple steps I have made for you:

  1. Create a new virtual card. Make sure it’s completely new and hasn’t been used on Spotify before.
  2. Download Technitium MAC Address Changer to change your MAC address.
  3. Sign up at Asocks. Once you open your profile, look for the spot to enter a promo code and use ‘DONTPAYFULL’.
  4. At the top of the Asocks page, you should see an option to link your Telegram next to your balance for a free trial.
  5. Set up a proxy port that connects to Turkey, and note down your login details.
  6. Enter the proxy details in your favorite browser. You can apply it directly in the Windows settings for a system-wide effect.
  7. Open a private browsing window on your browser, log in with your proxy details, and verify your IP address using whatismyipaddress or formyip.
  8. Finally, sign up for a new Spotify account and use your new virtual card to subscribe.

I only tried this method on a new account, so I’m not sure if it works on an existing account, but you shouldn’t have issues.

3. Argentina

Not a lot to say here. you are going to download a VPN and switch your location to Argentina. Then, find any Argentinian address online and use it to register on Spotify. Now, the subscription should only cost about $1.5 per month. You can use NordVPN for Argentina Spotify.

4. India

Indian Spotify should start working right away. First, log into your Spotify account and log out of all your devices. Purchase a Spotify Premium code for India. You should find a 12-month code for around $16, and they also have a 6-month option for about $10 on websites that sell these codes. You’ll need a VPN that can connect to servers in India. I used CyberGhost because of its free one-day trial offer without a credit card. Turn it on after setting it up. Once the VPN is running, log back into your Spotify account and switch your account’s country to India. Now, you’re all set to redeem the Premium code you bought. NordVPN also supports India.

5. Poland

Poland Spotify is 4 euros a month for the individual plan. I’ve been using ProtonVPN, and it’s been good so far. Does it matter if you pay with a local method or not from the country? Well, you could pay with Revolut Bank, which isn’t based in Poland. This should be easier if you reside in the EU.

You don’t need the VPN every time you use Poland Spotify; it’s only just to set up the account. But sometimes, you’ll only have to use it occasionally after setting up your account. Yes, Spotify checks your IP address to know where you are, and your account may stop working a couple of times, usually every two weeks. Otherwise, you don’t need to use the VPN every time you use Spotify, especially if you don’t use it about once a week.

6. Egypt

Egypt is also the Spotify cheapest country VPN, and you can still keep your account while trying to access Spotify Egypt. First, wait for your subscription to run out. After that, do exactly this:

  1. Change your Spotify country setting to Egypt using a VPN.
  2. Buy an Egyptian Spotify gift card from a third-party shop (like G2A or Eneba).
  3. Redeem your gift card. That’s all there is to this method.

This method may not be the cheapest, but it’s simple and cheap. With an Egyptian gift card, you can spend around 15 euros for a year.

Other cheap VPN countries for Spotify

  • Nigeria NGN 900 ($1.02)
  • Kenya KES 299 ($1.90)
  • Pakistan PKR 299 ($1.07)
  • Sri Lanka LKR 529 ($1.64)
  • Bangladesh BDT 199 ($1.81)

How to Get Cheap Spotify with VPN

I have explained the steps already, but here, I’m just going to go through the general steps.

1. Get and Set Up a Premium VPN

Most free VPNs do not work, and a lot of people make the mistake of using freemiums. The chance is that such IPs have been blacklisted on Spotify.

So, just get a reliable VPN with servers in the country where Spotify offers cheaper rates. For instance, NordVPN has servers in Brazil and other countries where Spotify subscriptions are cheap. Download and install the VPN on your device, sign up (consider using a short-term plan if this is a one-off need), and connect to a server in your chosen country, such as Brazil. If possible, ask around – you may find someone with a premium account so you don’t have to pay again. It’s a one-off after all.

2. Change Your Spotify Country Setting

Now, go to Spotify’s website and log into your account. Go to your account settings by clicking on your profile name, then select ‘Edit profile.’ Change your country to the one matching your VPN server location, such as Brazil. If you currently have a Spotify Premium account, you may need to cancel your subscription and wait for it to run out before you can change your country.

3. Purchase a Spotify Gift Card

Since direct payment may require a local payment method or face restrictions (like needing a local social security number in Brazil), buying a Spotify gift card from a third-party site like g2a.com for the country of your choice is a workaround. For Brazil, a 50 BRL (Brazilian Real) gift card covers like 3 months of Spotify Premium. You could still attempt to buy with your local card.

If you use a gift card, use the card code to redeem. Simply visit Spotify’s website, go to the ‘Redeem’ section, and enter your code to add the Premium subscription to your account. This method does not tie a payment method directly to the Spotify service in the target country. If you can get a local card, then that’ll be great. It’ll typically be easier if you have someone residing in any of these cheap countries.

4. Verify and Use

After redeeming your gift card, you can verify that your Spotify Premium subscription is active. You may not need a VPN connection to use Spotify after this step. However, occasionally connecting to a server in the country you selected as your location can help maintain the subscription without issues. For example, if you set your account to Poland, using ProtonVPN to occasionally connect to a Polish server may help to keep your account on good terms with Spotify.

Best VPN to Use for Spotify

I have already mentioned these VPNs, but let’s go through them again because I missed one. That should be ExpressVPN.

NordVPN

You can use NordVPN since it supports so many cheap Spotify countries. This VPN has over 6,000 servers spread across 61 countries, including places where Spotify Premium is as cheap as $1. NordVPN works in many countries like Brazil, Argentina, India, Egypt, Nigeria, Turkey, Poland, and more. As a tip, try to always switch between servers until you find one that gives you access, because Spotify seems to be on the lookout for VPN users. I’ve managed to find servers that work for now, but it’s hard to say if that’ll always be the case.

ProtonVPN

Proton also works. This VPN has 3,812 Plus servers located in 84 countries, but only for Plus subscribers. It supports countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Nigeria, Egypt, and Poland, but India isn’t on their list.

Surfshark

As for Surfshark, it has more than 3,200 servers in over 100 countries. One thing to note if you are using Spotify on a PC is that you may need to adjust your system’s time to match the time zone of the Spotify cheap country VPN. Surfshark supports Egypt, Nigeria, Argentina, Brazil, Ukraine, Turkey, etc.

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN supports Ghana, Egypt, Poland, Brazil, and Argentina with a network of servers across 105 countries. Yes, it is a good VPN.

Conclusion

So, we have just talked about Spotify cheapest country VPN, and the cheapest country here is Argentina. We have cheaper countries like Nigeria, but the problem is the payment method you will use without restriction. Usually, the best way is to have someone residing in this cheaper country buy the yearly plan for you. You only need a month of a VPN subscription to get this done, then buy a year plan—it’s a smart bargain.
